Thursday Mug #4

"It is this mug which I use for tea and coffee. It looks like a Guinness stout in a pint glass, and I purchased it at a famous seaside pottery shop on the Dingle peninsula of Ireland."

Christian V. - Milwaukee, WI

Thursday Mug #3

“Why this mug?  Cuz it was there?”

Thursday Mug #2

"If I owned any mugs that was special and had sentimental value, I'd keep it at home. So that leaves whatever is lying around at the office. This is one of the many that was sitting neglected in the break room cupboard.

It's low and square so I haven't managed to tip it over yet. Fuction over looks.

Also I moved back home to Wisconsin after 10 years on the East cost, so a corny green mug that screams "generic tourist site, Wisconsin" really appeals to me. We are not a marketing-savvy folk, and that's a good thing. But we're proud of this place!" Matt A.- Oak Creek, WI

Thursday Mugs #1

"This is my Streets of Old Milwaukee mug. I keep it on my desk, here in Austin, Texas, because it reminds me of home. The Streets are an exhibit depicting life in Milwaukee just before WWI. The exhibit is located inside the Milwaukee Public Museum where I worked for five years while I earned a Master's in Museum Studies and Anthropology. I have many, many fond memories of my grandparents taking me there as a child and explaining how things were in their day. The museum has changed very little over the years and I feel it is part of my old neighborhood in my heart, since I basically grew up there." Wendy W. - Austin, TX

My Mug

I got this mug as I'm a big fan of Scrabble.  I picked Q as it's worth 10 points and well, it's a Q.

Why This Mug?

On my way into work this morning I had this idea...why do people have the coffee mugs they have?  I know I have wondered that as I go to help someone fix their PC, carrying my own mug.

So I'm asking people for a pic of their mug and one question...

Why this mug?
